01What I built
In March 2026 a cofounder and I gave ourselves two weeks to answer one question with conviction: should this become a real company? Momentum (working name Outtcast) was a social self-improvement app meant to make progress visible and culturally aspirational. The repo holds both halves of that sprint: a founder operating system (mission, live status, decisions log, sprint plan, cofounder setup) and an Expo Router MVP with onboarding, feed, composer, profile, habits and a squads surface, with HealthKit wired in for a physical-iPhone alpha.
02What I learned
Writing the decision record first was worth more than the app. The sprint answered its own question: the demand research did not support a company, and having that on paper made stopping easy rather than emotional. The founder-OS pattern (soul, heartbeat, memory, sprint docs) carried straight into how I run every project now.
03Built with AI
The MVP scaffold and the founder docs were built with Claude Code against a two-founder collaboration playbook that spelled out background-AI and merge rules, so two non-engineers could work on one codebase.
